Getting Up-To-Date

I am fully aware that I haven't been around much lately... and for this I'm sorry. My excuse is in my last post- we've been UBER busy with moving and fixing our house up to sell. And of course, this guy:
He's adorable.

One of the downsides to moving all our stuff to TN two weeks ago and then coming back for a couple weeks is that we have no washer or dryer...

And, as of this week, I have spent a total of 7.5 hours of my life at the laundromat in the last month.

But, quite happily for me, the laundromat is two doors down from my best friend Jordan's house, so she also has spent a good portion of her life at the laundromat with me. ;)

We also spent a weekend at Mema and PapPap's house celebrating Thanksgiving!

Among the fix-it projects has been jacking up the columns on the porch. I really did not like doing this, frankly, because it was incredibly scary. It's too complicated to explain why its scary, though. :D


Our living room before the truck arrived. The Dining Room and Kitchen were no better. :D We had all the Clarke's, Jordan, Hannah, and all us Howards (aka 12 kids) trying to make 5 pizzas with a broken oven and three hungry toddlers when the guy arrived to measure the windows for new ones. It was quite the spectacle and we're still laughing about how chaotic it all looked... er, actually was. :D
