All Of Life Is Beautiful

You just have to look at it the right way.

Emma tiptoed in, with muddy, wet feet, from gathering eggs one rainy day last week. In one hand she held three bright yellow daffodils of varying sizes. They were dirty, kind of droopy, and obviously battered from the rain. She showed them to me with a smile, "This is you, me, and Willa. We're muddy and rough around the edges, but still so cheery and bright!"

I didn't exactly feel cheery and bright at that moment- I had been washing dishes for too long and I missed sunshine. But she was right- with God's grace, we can be cheery and bright. Hopefully letting nothing but His pure joy shine through us despite the dirt that is such a part of our lives now.
