Probably The Most Random Picture Of The Day...

Life is crazy. Who knew, right? Events of the week include but are totally not limited to:
  • Buttercup leaving. :( She has moved homes, and we're no longer milking her. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss it!
  • Caroline and me (Olivia) having a good time sewing together
  • Mother, Daddy, and Willa starting the GAPS diet. Biggest deal of the week pretty much. Mommy's been in the kitchen all day every day.
  • Popping over to neighbor's houses unannounced and staying an hour or two
  • Attempting crazy projects with church family
  • Fiddle, nature, harp and photography practices with friends
  • Emma being absolutely amazing all the time
  • Witnessing an adoption in the courthouse and celebrating with a yummy lunch afterward
  • Learning we won't be taking a long-anticipated trip back to "the hometown" this summer. :(
  • Jumping in the creek in my nice clothes
  • Daddy telling at least a dozen really funny jokes today
  • Emma quoting Princess Bride as she goes about taking care of the kids
  • Seth, Elsie, and me going to pick up peaches in Amish country, getting ice cream at the country store, and taking the "back, secret" way home. Stopping to get a refreshing drink from a road-side spring.
  • Snuggling with an adorable baby
  • and seeing amazing sights around dusk every evening. Sunsets, fogs, lightning bugs, and frogs.

Yep, that is a random one! Haha, like the sun diffusing through Mr. Franklin.

So sorry to hear about Buttercup. She was good for you guys.

Would love to have joined in on some of those fiddle/harp/nature/picture practices. Sounds great. :-)

Very sorry to hear about no trip up here. :-( But, it's understandable.

    Go Emma!

Glad to hear about the adoption. Always a happy occurence.

Wish you would have shared at least one of those really funny jokes with everyone. ;-) But maybe they were esoteric for those in the moment.

Ah aren't ripe peaches just the best? I could eat them all day. Nothing like it in the world. We always get some from the roadside farmers in Ontario wine country on our way home from visiting the northern relatives. So, we'll probably be picking up a few then pretty soon. Must be neat to pick your own.

Fun little read here before bed. :-)
