Cheesy Outings

Last Friday I took the kids with me down to the neighboring Amish town to pick up fresh peaches, local honey, and finely ground sea salt. (you can rejoice, salt-grinding friends. ;)

We also stopped by the little Amish store and bought cheese puffs. Then we took the "back way" home, in what Elsie calls, "The long shortcut." It takes us past a yummy spring that just flows and flows out of the rock right beside the road. So we stopped to wash our cheesy hands and quench our thirst.

Josiah drinking is uber cute.

They also like tossing rocks into the creek on the opposite side of the road.

Seth thinks just using your hands is lame, so he sticks his whole face under the spout.

And Josiah just likes the flowing water...

Even when it splashes his face. :D

Time to climb back in the van! Its only about a 10 minute back-roads and bushes drive home. :)
