3.1.14 - 3.18.14
Hello, March!
This was a foot picture expressly meant to annoy Camille (while showing off the snow). :P
Seth and I started North! Or Be Eaten!. It's so good. :)
Lemon-blueberry rolls.
The daffodils came out! They're the first sign of spring around here. :) Josiah brought me this one.
It took us a while to actually finish our infinity scarf project, but it finally got done!
Cookies for our trip down to Florida for Chris and Darby's WEDDING!!!
3.22.14
(The PC for these five pictures from the wedding goes to John Cobb)
We (and most of our church family) traveled down to witness the covenant vows of Chris and Darby Stouffer. It was SUCH a BLAST (and beautiful).
Olivia at the reception.
The young folks packed the dance floor all afternoon!
Then we sent them off with a shower of bubbles, well wishes, and tears.
:)
3.25.14 - 4.3.14
I re-read Anne of Green Gables.
And we shipped out our first Etsy orders!
We also met with an architect to draw up some concepts for the addition we've been dreaming of.
I was tripping up the stairs one dimly-lit evening and found this scene of a general rumpus. :P
We made our favorite vegan cheese sauce that we hadn't made for FIVE YEARS. It was just as wonderful as I remember.
Ah. So now this. March 12th I found a bulls-eye rash from a tick right smack-dab in the middle of my back. On our way down to Chris and Darby's wedding, we drove into Nashville for a bit of the Teach Them Diligently Conference and to hear Blimey Cow's Q&A session. Before that, we stopped at our doctor's office and he prescribed me extra, longer antibiotics than the ones I had already started on. I had to be very careful of the sun, and it was easy to get an upset stomach from the antibiotics. Fast forward to April 24th and I was taking my last dose of the 6-week prescription. I was close enough to the end and my body couldn't handle it anymore. I had felt as sick as Mother does when she has morning sickness for the past 2 or 3 weeks. Smells bothered me, I couldn't stomach much, and towards the end it was hard to keep stuff down. I have NO IDEA how Willa does this all the time. I couldn't stand being nauseous and I even knew the day it was going to be over! I found a whole new respect for her and a new level of empathy for the other sickies in our house. I'm so thankful my lessons are generally learned through good health, and not illness!
Willa and I did an lot of sitting on our beds and watching movies together while I was sick.
We discovered this gem and watched it multiple times between us girls. :)
This is a guitar that we got along with a whole furnished guest house at the bottom of our hill. :D We were all so excited when Grandude closed on the little house at the bottom of the hill. It was certainly one of the BIGGEST, most prominent blessings God had dumped on us this year. The first weekend after he closed on it, we had some of Bradley's friends staying there as they helped with construction on the reception barn for the wedding. :)

We had our annual large-ish flood from a big shower that lasted all day and night. But that evening I was supposed to be at the Lingos' weekly farm meeting to discuss me sharing their expanding booth at the farmer's market and I wasn't exactly sure how Olivia and I were going to make it over. Thankfully, Daniel was headed over too, so he drove us through the uncomfortably-high waters.
In anticipation of producing A LOT of bags, I bought my own custom-stamp. I felt so official.
The first of maaaaaaaaaany grocery runs for my mixes!
Part 4 will come later (hopefully)... I'm off to join in New Year's Eve festivities!
