In other news, Lily had her second litter of puppies seven weeks ago and now we have four adorable fluff balls running around outside. We took pictures for the Craig's List ad this morning.
I wanted to take some pictures of Elsia too, because she's growing up so fast and is just so gorgeous, but she thought we were going to put her up for adoption too. ;)
I eventually convinced her we were planning on keeping her for a long while yet.
So. Much. Fluff.
Their little noses were running because of all the rain and chilliness outside.
Isn't she stunning?
We had a few friends from the next holler over in our home last night to consume large amounts of chili and hot cocoa after a damp afternoon of soccer playing. An impromptu marshmallow fight may or may not have also ensued, followed by a rubber band shooting contest.
The puppies came in for a wee while and allowed our guests to cuddle them by the fire.
When she's smiling, it's like the sun is shining.
"Don't ask about the wolf worms. They're the worst." (Yes, wolf worms. Thankfully small and only in three of our four puppies. The worms had already vacated two by the time we found out. The vet took care of the remaining one right quick and everyone seems to be healing up just fine.)
She'd kiss everyone all day long if she could. Josiah may be our official Hug-Giver, but she certainly does her part to make sure everyone knows they're well loved.
This is a picture from last week sometime, the trees are now all bronze and yellow and red. Fall has been pretty dazzling thus far.
Knowing that we may not have had much time left with the leaves with all the storms blowing in, Willa and I took an hour and a half four-wheeler ride down some long-lost back roads this past Saturday morning. Tennessee is looking mighty fine right now.
Elsia is also just as goofy as the rest of us.
Did I say goofy?
I meant weird.
Shorts, fleece sweater, white socks, yarn bin, computer, and back massager being used as a foot massager (not pictured). I didn't even realize how hilarious this looked until Olivia walked down stairs chortling and promptly snapped a picture.
This lady showed up in Nashville last weekend. She was visiting some other friends, but we stole her for an hour or so Sunday afternoon and perused over-priced hipster stores and creepy jewelry boutiques. Because it doesn't matter what we're doing, just so long as we're together.
This is what she looks like most days. Messy hair and tank tops.
There probably won't be another post for a long time again. Life seems to speed up the longer we go on. Maybe I'll teach Elsia to blog. She's still young. :)
