Mommy's Birthday 2016

Today was Mommy's birthday. We celebrated with Da and Popo, who finally moved in next door. There was a roast, a dentist appointment, secret gas-station gift run, coconut cream pie, and presents involved. Also, a scintillating poem.

Mommy's birthday poem:
(By Willa)
Dear Mommy,
Life is what happens when you're busy making plans,
And the grass may seem greener on other land.
But you look for the rainbow within all the rain
And when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.
You shoot for the moon, and you land in the stars
You just keep on going, even when life is hard.
You don't wait for storms to pass, you  dance in the rain
As the old saying goes, with no hurt there's no gain.
From you I have learned to go with the flow.
After all, YOLO!
