These night times in the Howard girls' suite are pretty great. We step over each other doing exercises on the floor. We brush our teeth and continue to carry on full conversations. We laugh until I cry. Willa makes a comment about how awesome she is. Emma gives us each neck rubs. Elsia talks non-stop. I drop my phone on my face. Someone complains about how many clothes need put away. We commiserate about our ailments and celebrate the day's victories.
E+W watch a YouTube video or two while I remind them to laugh quieter because Momma and Daddy are trying to sleep. I ask them if I should just go to sleep or go get a snack and they always recommend the latter and then make fun of me when it's something weird. Willa surprises us with some new quirky awesome thing she's creating. We admire her star projector and comment (again) on how much we love our twinkle lights and how much we need a mini fridge up here.
We discuss life, love, and happiness. We giggle with no shame and sigh with relaxation and peace. Sharing a room with your sisters really IS like a slumber party every night with your best friends. It's the bestest. ❤❤
