| A lot has happened since 2016. I won't go into every little detail because hopefully the only people seeing this will be the family but I will give a short rundown of all the memorable events. Before I start I guess I should give everyone's ages. Daddy-53 Mommy-53 Calvin-28 Olivia-27 Emma-24 Willa-21 Seth-14 Myself (Elsia)-12 (almost 13) Josiah-10 Everett-10 months old I believe that is everyone. 2016: Olivia got married to Calvin Williams and they have been married for three years coming up on their 4th anniversary. ![]() 2016: The great "Mold Cleanup of 2016" began. ![]() . 2016: Then we all moved into Da & Popo's house for the summer. Emma started going to New College Franklin. ![]() 2017: Another mold remediation. ![]() 2018: We went to Orlando Florida with Grand dude, Uncle Scott, Aunt Jill, William, Oliver, William's sister Cathy, Olivia and Calvin, (before they had Everett) and the family. (Mommy, Daddy, Emma, Willa, Seth, Myself, and Josiah) We went to Disney World, Universal Studios, Lego Land, and instead of going to the beach we went on a tree top adventure. (and we had a swimming pool in our backyard in the rental house) 2018: After we got back from Orlando Willa, Seth, and daddy started reacting bad to 636 and had to get out of the house as soon as possible. They went with mommy to a hotel and spent the week there. ( I think.) ![]() Emma had school at New College the next day very early and Josiah and I had choir practice at the barn the same day. Emma wasn't able to take us so we spent the night at the Post's house. (Josiah and I. Not Emma) Then Willa, Daddy and Seth stayed at the Soud's house for a few weeks. After that they moved into the little house for three weeks. ![]() In those three weeks we all decided it best to go somewhere without any mold or humidity. (that had been one of the most humid summers we have had since living in TN.) So we moved to Colorado for the summer with much sadness being away from our church family. While we where in Colorado we went to Estes Park, Mount Evans, Garden of the Gods, ![]() ![]() ![]() Camping three times, (one of the camping trips was the Mushroom Hike) Near Red Rocks for Willa's birthday, ![]() And that is all of the "places" we went but there where so many good and fun/funny experiences there. I wish I could remember them all so I can tell you but I might not get them all. Every Sunday evening we would go over to Grand Dude's house and eat delicious meals there. And we would almost always play "Extreme Croquet". On the 4th of July we went to Estes Park and afterwards went to a log cabin in the woods for a small family reunion. After that on our way home we could see as I recall 17 firework shows at one time. I believe that that night we saw up to 50 or 70 shows all together. (not at the same time though. But that would have been awesome) We stopped to look at one on the way home. ![]() Mount Evans was a scary and tiring experience for me. I'm not sure how the other members of the family thought of it. But it was fun. Josiah was so scared of the drive down he buried himself in pillows till we got to the bottom. We went to Garden of the God's with the King family while Mr. King was there on a business trip and after Mrs. King took the girls home Michael and Knox stayed with us and we went to The Indian Cave Dwellings. After that we went to a part of Garden of the Gods and climbed around. Then we dropped the King boys off at the hotel and chatted for a while. And some day the same week Knox and Michael went camping for Seth's 13th birthday while I traded places and spent the weekend with Catie, and the other King ladies/girls+ Lindsey. I have no idea what mommy, Emma and Willa did while we where all gone. They also went to laser tag. 2018: Though we were sad to leave Colorado we were excited to get back to beautiful TN. We had a lot of laughs in Colorado. 2018: Our wonderful church family surprised us when we got home from Colorado with a parade and a fire engine. Click on the link below to see our reactions in the car. 👉https://youtu.be/lpidu4pQn4c 2018: We all moved into the little house. 2018: Then we finally got back into our own house together. 2019: Amanda McCleod moved in with us and has been here for an entire year. ![]() 2019: Everett Oscar Williams was born and has been bringing us never-ending joy for almost a whole year now. 2019: Mommy and Daddy went on a mold sabbatical to Savannah. ![]() 2019: Daddy wasn't getting any better at 636 so he and Mommy decided he should go have a trial period at Olivia and Calvin's new house and see how he does. ![]() 2019: Daddy is now living in a camper in the pastures. 2020: Daddy has been having bad days in the camper by himself so I decided a few weeks ago that Tuesday evening till Saturday afternoon I would spend at the camper with him and take care of him. 2020: COVID 19... the Coronavirus has been getting worse and Daddy and I along with 636 family have quarantined ourselves from everything. But we have been able to Skype the Lord's Day worship services. ![]() Speaking of Skype, we have also been FaceTiming every night around 7:30 for family worship. ![]() We have also been trying to quarantine ourselves from 636. (Daddy and I have) So far there is no one who definitely has it in our family but some are showing symptoms. It's not an ideal time right now being away from everyone and everything but I know that Daddy and I have been playing lots of board games to pass time and we have been walking. While 636 has been doing puzzles, ![]() Playing board games, ![]() Watching family movies, ![]() and making DELICIOUS meals. ![]() I look forward to seeing everyone at church and at 636 again when this has all passed. And so ends my very first post. Looking forward to doing this again. It has been a good way for me to pass the time and it combines my two favorite things. Writing and going through old photos. The most recent thing that has happened in our crazy lives was the toilet over flowing at 636. |
