Room Remodel Part 1

Emma, Willa, and I are redoing our bedroom. The two major steps we've done so far are 1) Rearrange our room and 2) paint the bright red bunk bed white. I started at about 4:00 on Wednesday, and, as you can see, was up until dark still painting.
We used spray paint. The one major draw back (besides the toxins) was the sore finger. Mommy found this nifty little dohicky that attatches to the top of the can so that instead of using one finger to push down, you use two fingers to pull a trigger. She paid $2 for it, but I think it is worth $10, easily.
I had lots o'fun! We have yet to move the bed back inside. We're waiting for it to air out further.
More to follow!

Hmm.... gives me an idear there.... something really needs to be done with our room, especially rearranging. Even though we have the whole attic, we have to fit all the furniture and storage! Also, it makes a great place for little girls to play dress-up, so we need to figure out some organization up there. We've only just started, and it will be a loooooong process! *sighs*. Well, it sure looks like fun doin' what you are! I just love cleaning out, then feeling so clean and refreshed! It's the loveliest feeling.

Sorry that was so long!

Well, you know Ruby, I'm known for how many different ways I can possibly figure out to rearrange the furniture. When I had the playroom all to myself, I would move the furniture every week - sometimes twice a week. But that was usually only when Mommy and Daddy said,"nope!" That happened a couple of times. The two I remember well was when 1) I moved my bed to the exact middle of the room, and you couldn't walk without stepping on furniture and 2) when I situated my bed on top of my dresser-- I think you've seen a picture. That only lasted a few days.

I totally agree with you on cleaning out, in fact, I did some yesterday and I think I stirred up some dust because I'm sniffing continually.

Well, off to a field trip!
