GoPo's, Birthday, & Awards!

I've had several family members request I post about the following things, so here I go! :-D
For dinner tonight Emma made mashed potatoes. Occasionally they will come out just the right texture for sculpting. Tonight was one of those nights, so I just picked up my taters and rolled them into this Lockness Monster thing with a beak and a sand dollar. Emma made a seal thing with a wierd fin and Willa made a whale. Daddy however took the prize with his dragon:

*smile* He said that unless you have inspiration to mould your food, it is just called playing. Otherwise it's an art.

As we headed out on a walk, we just picked up our sculptures, rolled 'em up, and took them with us. Emma called them "GoPo's" and Daddy called them "GoTaters." :-D

Also, a VERY HAPPY (belated) 13th birthday to Rachel!!!!

And on the other side of the family, we were thrilled to hear that Uncle Scott won "Best Morning Show" and "Radio Entertainment Personality of the Year 2008" by the Colorado Broadcaster's Association!!!!!

Emma, Willa, and Mommy also went to the Symphony this morning, and we've LOVED the really nice weather today!!!!!
