Why We Love Our Life...

...in exactly 48 pictures. :D I decided to catch y'all up on February/March's happenings in one long post... and I apologize for eating up your bandwidth, Hughsnet users, between this post and the last one. ;)

We had a delightful visit a week or two ago from Mommy's college roommate (who married Daddy's college roommate... :D) and her two girls. Thanks for coming by!!!

Clue at 7 in the morning... :D We loved having y'all!

We got to help move in the Adam's family a week or two ago also- we are SOOOO excited to have them nearby!

Unloading the lawnmower was... loud. :D It only took 2 hours to unload the truck- then everyone stayed for dinner and talking 4 hours afterward!

We had a great warm spell recently- we took the opportunity to do school in many places. :D No room for desks, so Willa used the ironing board. :D

soaking up the sun- I actually got a sunburn! It felt sooo good!

This is big news!! Josiah never really tried to roll over before, and then when he decided to do it, he did! :D

No matter how much we wash the car, it is still *filthy* all the time. I had fun washing the car and burning boxes and biking the kids to the creek in a white skirt. :D

Looking through the pictures on our camera, I found a lot of mirror pictures of us girls. The way the mirrors are set up is perfect for picture taking. :D

This one makes Emma and I laugh every time we see it. :P

Josiah is also learning to sit up.

He's getting into the spirit of farming around here... he really enjoyed looking at the seed catalog. :D

This is Jo and his sombrero.

Things that keep life interesting... like getting a mulch truck stuck in the front yard. :D

Emma and I have somehow managed to make some kind of culinary creation everyday... without really trying. :D So one day I made sugar cookies and Emma made ice cream and we squished them together for ice cream sandwiches... they turned out amazingly good. :D

We've also had some folks over for dinner a couple nights, which we've really enjoyed. :D

Like the Lingos. After dinner we played Liar's Dice. :D

Jo's also really excited about the fact that he can control his tongue. He is constantly zerbiting. :D

Another day Daddy, Willa, Elsie and I walked up to the pastures to check out the "wood piles".

I loved taking pictures of Elsie.

We are constantly amazed at how cute she is.

The mulch pile. with some editing. :D

Grand Dude and Grand Jean are here visiting!

While on a run to the closest gas station (ahem. gas pump), we took the opportunity to ask the chickens why they were crossing the road. They were offended.

We went over to the Lingos yesterday to show Grand Dude and Grand Jean their operation and Willa and Elsie were excited to see the new kittens.

Oh, and Ivan took himself back to the Lingos, so we're catless now, but Tinkerbell is keeping the mice away.

They also took a walk around our property yesterday.

Emma and I decided that we needed to start having a pre and post dinner dessert. Last night's choice was roasted marshmallows.Short on roasting sticks, I used the 1/2" drill bit we keep in the kitchen for coconuts. :D it was delightful. :D

This was the post dinner dessert- coffee toffee bars. :D

Elsie is adorable. :D

And... congratulations for reaching the end of this post! Y'all come back soon, m'kay?
