Europe Trip Pictures: #4 Shopping On The Champs Elysee!

Okay... so we didn't really shop like most people who go there to shop... and I didn't buy a watch the price of our house... but I did buy one thing!

Realising that people actually *do* spend that kind of money for this stuff...

Where's Waldo?

We needed some breakfast, so we stopped at a 3 story Mc Donald's. It had at least a dozen (no joke) cash registers. We Americans are so behind-- they've had McCafe's for months!

We ate outside.

Trying to look awake...

I ordered hot cocoa. This is what they gave me. :-P

Check this out. It is the coolest car I have ever seen. It's Toile-covered!!! (real fabric!)

My seamstress-heart be still!

In Paris they had car dealerships *inside* row-style buildings! Even buildings 15' across and 45' deep! This awesome car was in the Peugeot store. I bought Seth a little toy car there.

Me, myself, and I attempting to look glamorous whilst strolling down the Champs Elysee. (Didn't work very well, did it?!?!) :-)

And there's how dorky I looked taking the picture!

Riding the escalator under the ground to go under the road to get back to the subway. :-) Pictures of the Arc de' Triomphe next!

Ah yes, the most beautiful avenue in the world. Such lovely gardens and shops along the way. I hope you got to see it at night with all the trees lit up.
Love the car except it would get a little covered with dead mosquitoes pretty quickly....I have never known for one to polish the floors inside a car and dry-clean the hood? Only in Paris. (I like this roll you're on)
