We got our pictures taken with the king and princess.
And with shining armor.
And in green crowns.
Then we walked around the medieval village and looked at the torture chamber while we waited for the show to start.
:-D
Approaching...
Tada!
We rooted for the GREEN Knight-- who actually turned out to be the bad guy, but we still liked him the best. :-)
Let the tournament begin!
Dinner (half a roasted chicken, literally, half a potato, spare ribs with BBQ sauce, soup, uh huh, and bread!) had to be eaten without utensils... although those with a vegetarian meal got spoons for the rice. :-)
Seth LOVED LOVED LOVED rooting for the Green Knight... we all did! He stood there waving his banner high!
Our whole gang!
The Howard Girls with the Green Knight.
It was lots o' fun! Highly recommended...
Today we went to The Magic Kingdom, so I'll try and post those pictures tomorrow. I'm a bit tired tonight. :-D

Hey! I didn't know that Seth was a Jeff Gordon fan! I saw him cruising around in the famous #24 flames car over in your Picasa folder. I'll have to have him over some time for a race! :)
So, now I see that no one has attempted any Ryan Sand Homes on the beach yet. (an explanation to those who are wondering, I spend hours engineering and constructing homes out of the sand when we are at the beach.) Since it is too cold to swim, that might be a challenging use of your time. Although, the thought just occurred to me that you are now in-state with Minnie so ... bye, bye Ryan Homes.
That photo of your dad is a little intense. Maybe he was trying to emulate the green knight... You three ladies looked a tad edgy standing beside that guy!
Loved your little crab friend and as Rachel said that is a stunning early-morning shot of your sisters.
I hope that your mom is enjoying an extended B-day celebration. To let you know, it was 23 degress today but no white stuff. Shouldn't have said that; now you'll stay longer!
See you soon.
Right...
Well, the last day Daddy helped them build a little castle, but I enjoyed the pool (or sitting by the pool) more. Sand is well, sandy. :-P
As far as looking edgy... you try standing next to a guy who looks and smells like he just bathed in perfume. He had sweat dripping off his nose!
Actually, we were concidering staying longer... 23*... :-P
How is it that I have this uncanny ability of eliciting information out of you that I wish I hadn't heard? :O I never said that 23* was uncomfortable... just that it was 23*! Wheeling's not such a bad place to be in mid-February... :)
I am willing to pass up on your gracious offer. I appreciate your thoughtfullness though...
I hope that we will get some pictures of the "bobcoonocats' and the Space Shuttle experience. I am most eager to see them. Also, since your know I like exotic animals, I am hoping that you will have some close-ups of your numerous crocodile friends (I'm naturally assuming that you made their acquaintances) to share. I have a stellar one in mind, you holding your nice Lumix just inside of an open gater's mouth, :O getting crystal clear quality of those alabaster teeth! Yeah, that could make Natioanl Geogrtaphic. Armadillos? in Florida? We got to see those as well. Meerkats? Oh, they are adorable, such cute little feet. :)
I'm so glad you posted about that! When I talked to Emma on the phone I told her I wanted to see pictures! Yay!
Eww eww eww eww ewwwwww!!!!!!!! At least Elsie was the closest...but you were the second closest, and you don't look so comfortable, tell ya the truth, Olivia. :)
Are you really going to stay longer???? I don't think I can handle that...:)
Love you guys!!!!
Rachel
Ryan and Rachel:
Oh come on. I do *not* look uncomfortable! Seriously. Compare me in the other pictures... I look the same! Willa was actually the most discombobulated. :-P
Ryan:
23* is stinkin' cold! I'm afraid I'm getting spoiled down here with my nose peeling from sun burn...
The "bobcooncat" was some black creature we tried to identify when we were driving back from trying to spot manatees.
No pictures allowed in the space ride. sorry.
Hehe. Wait for a post on the Gators. ;-D
We did run over the same armidillo with two cars during a little adventure we had... and it made the same sound both times. :-P We don't have any pictures of those yet, though.
Rachel:
It really was a fun place! I think you could spare me an extra day or two, couldn't you? I mean, we were able to survive without the Clarke's for a month (albeit we did not fare so well during that time...) so you can spare us! JJ.
We don't know nuttin' at this point... 'specially seeing that Daddy was in the ER tonight for meds for some chest sickness he has goin' on. Yes. Prayers are appreciated.
well... we're up at 6 tommorrow!
Well yeah, I was just kidding. :) But I was eager to see the pictures!!
Yeah...I kept checking your blog to see what was happening...we were wishing so badly we could help you guys!
Oh my gosh, I'll pray for him! Please tell me if he's feeling better!!

Love,
Rachel
