Photo credit for all but the first nine and last photo goes to Rachel! She's never without a camera in her hand... :-D
After a wonderful 3.5 hour drive, a trip to Target (we got such a kick that it had an escalator!), and dropping Jordan, Rachel, and Jack off at the Hoshiko's, we called it a night. Emma and I stayed at the Hopkins.
An early start Friday morning got us into the swing of things. Jordan enjoyed looking like a model. :-D
It was so wonderful to get to hear many, many, debates, learn about Ethanol through the debates, hear speeches, meet people, and just have a great time!
Because you know I like self-portraits. :-D
Gabriel, Lizzie, Ruby, Jordan, Emma, and Rachel! We were such a big group walking around! We had to split into 'possies' to keep from storming the place!
Cleveland had so much snow! Jordan broke out of her heels and stood in a freezing puddle to sooth... I think... her feet.
Our homies. :-D It was nice that Chloe drove us everywhere!
Friday night the Hoshiko's invited us over for pizza. What fun we had! We played Telephone Pictionary-- our new favorite game!
Saturday was also a blast, even though we slept in an hour later than we were supposed to! :-D You can imagine the panic that ensued...
This picture is of darlin' Janell, another member of our possie. :-D
Jordan acting something out for Ashley, Lizzy, Chloe, and me...
Our constant source of entertainment. :-D
Ruby and adorable Grace. She hung with us too!
So did her brother Ian!
What happened to our food?
Chloe and Ruby did a humourous duo, choosing parts of the Princess Bride to share. It was hilarious! I would still get tears in my eyes from surpressing laughter the 6th time I heard it! :-D And not just me... Jordan did too.
"You did awesome!"
The classiest look of the day...
Shall we dance?
I shall give you some pictures of our lunch on Saturday. We sat on the floor right inside the door. We had forgotten our lunch, so we ran out to Subway. "Man, you guys got Subway??" was a fairly common line for about 40 minutes. :-D Ashley (above) said it... as she and Rachel had a camera war...
Caleb said the phrase too!
Our faces made me laugh here!
The way Ruby sat while she was pretending to be the grandfather cracked everyone up!
After the final debate and awards ceremony, about 100 of us headed over to Ruby Tuesdays... with Ruby... :-D
This was the only picture that came out! I took it over my head.
That's the latest news from the Howard's household! We would appreciate prayers for our car. It's been in the shop countless times already (our new one, which I don't think I ever mentioned...) and we are heading out on a 15 hour driving adventure this evening. Thanks!
There will be lots to post about!
