Winter '09 Fun

We didn't have any snow for Christmas, but we've really enjoyed our January Snow! (and there's still 4" out there!)
The wonderful Clarke family invited us out for some sledding a few Sundays ago, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!


I think Seth enjoyed himself most of all!


He loved the process of falling so much that he would purposely throw himself off the sled!


We also had a quick respite next to the frozen pond...

Jack and I had a contest to see who could throw the most pieces of popcorn up in the air and catch them in their mouth in a row. Jack got 15, I got 21. :-D

The little ones played poker for a while. (no joke. Seth came over to Mommy and said, "Willa has four red cards, that means she has a flush." :-D)

One Thursday in January we also went ice skating, and then Emma and I visited with the Clarke's for a little while while Andrea (in the above picture) played with Willa.

Besides these two times that I went out in the cold, Emma, Willa, and Seth have been out nearly every day. They even built a slide off the roof.... :-D
