It Was One Of Those Days...

 Today was one of those days when I had to heat my tea up no less than 7 times because I could never get a chance to drink it while it was warm.

Today was one of those days when in order to vacuum the living room floor, I had to pick up more than a few single white socks in three different sizes, about three dozen used tissues, and several sweet potatoes.

 Today was one of those days when the baby falls asleep in his highchair.

Today was one of those days when even Energizer Bunny Emma took a nap.

Today was one of those days when we found a baby spoon in the fireplace.

 Today was one of those days when all I did was visit three neighbors and I got this muddy... while trying (*ahem* I know some people won't believe I can try hard at anything...;) to stay clean.

Today was one of those days when the things you think will make you happy end up not mattering and the things that you're not looking forward to end up being the most joyous.

 Today was one of those days where even the 14 month old's hair won't cooperate. We called him Baby Einstein all day.

Today was one of those days when Elsie danced to the rap station with me as we drove around in a beat up truck sloshing through every good mud puddle. And then fell asleep 3 minutes later.

 Today was one of those days where he is so cute it's hard to stand it. He did this when we told him to smile for the camera.

Today was one of those days when God's grace abounds and you can feel it.

Today was one of those days when I am thankful for family. However wacky, sick, noisy, crazy-haired, stinky, silly, tiresome, or needy they may be. Because they're still awesome, sanctifying, hilarious, kind, patient, cute, cuddly, and well, family.
