Today was my 16th birthday! Yesterday these three yellow roses were delivered to me. When Mommy turned 16, her father was in the hospital (he died 4 months later of cancer). He had three yellow roses delivered to her at home, and so I got three roses delivered to me!
I had a very nice birthday today. It was soooooo nice to be back at church-- I think I've only been 3 times since June with all of the sicknesses and traveling I've had/ done. Pap Pap and Mema came up to celebrate with us this weekend. We had a lovely dinner last night, REALLY yummy leftovers for lunch today (on request from me!), and cake and ice cream after church.
I was also given a very nice ring that Mommy said has been in the works since last Christmas from Pap Pap and Mema. My birthstone set in gold and shimmering clear stones-- scrumptious!
Yes, it was a good day. :-)
