Last weekend we traveled over to Columbus, OH for the Botkin's
Crossroads Conference. It was Willa's 11th Birthday, so she opened her presents in the car at 6 am.

Willa's favorite creature is fast becoming the
Hagfish, even though it is *very* disgusting.
Emma converted her birthday card into a hagfish without any idea of what they look like. :D

The conference was at a beautiful Hilton hotel.

On Friday after great talks by all members of the Botkin family, Willa chose to celebrate her birthday at the California Pizza Kitchen! :D We invited the
Kincell family along for some wonderful fellowship!

It was cooooold in the hotel, but we really really enjoyed it nonetheless!

Friday was also John Calvin's 500th Birthday, so in his honor they had some re-enactors up on stage give accounts of what part of Calvin's life they were in.

Mema and PapPap were kind enough to watch Seth and Elsia at their house, which made Willa the youngest for a weekend again! (she was the youngest for 7 years before Seth was born!)

Saturday for lunch it was raining so we drove over to Wendy's and brought it back to the hotel.

Saturday evening for dinner we went to Potbelly's with the Donegan family! It was raining HARD when we were done eating, so we waited a bit and made a dash for it-- Lynn (far left) and me in bare feet!

Lots of talking!

We are really really really glad we went to the Crossroads Conference. We were greatly encouraged!

It was so good to see your family again. I'm glad we had a chance to visit over dinner!
I know this has ALMOST nothing to do with the post... but I LOVE california pizza kitchen! It's one of my favorite restaurants. Their pizzas are so good. :D
