Last Wednesday we headed out for the 10 hour trip to Centerville, TN. Daddy providentially needed to go for work, so we all tagged along and over the weekend stayed with people we had never met!

A dime ride in Kentucky.

My project for the car ride... starting on Elsie's Christmas gift.

We stayed two nights in Dickson, TN. The Super 8 had a pool that we enjoyed... Seth was terrified of the water and just sat on the steps.

Willa enjoyed herself...

And Elsie was a fish! She had no fear of the water and had me pulling her all over the deep end!

We ate twice at the
Farmer's Family Restaurant. SO good. Even if Elsie tells you otherwise.

Visiting with the locals. :D

Broken English on the Super 8 sign. ;D

Friday we met Mr. Stouffer for lunch at Burke's Family Restaurant. I took the kids out to the car, parked in front of the restaurant's big picture windows, while the parents were still inside chatting. Willa and I sat in the front seat entertaining ourselves with sunglasses. There was a guy sitting in front of the picture window watching us do the above, and, as Mommy said later, laughing at us. Daddy later informed us the guy was the
one on the right. We had no idea. One of the few times I decide not to care what I look like to others, this happens. :-P
We also stopped by the
Lingo's while we were up their road- they have an
amazing business going!

Friday evening we were invited to the Lovett's for Pizza Night! Seth found a friend in 4 and a half year old Johnathan. Little Johnathan Lovett prayed a prayer during family worship that night that was such a testimony to the work the families of
Heritage Church are doing.

Daddy, Joshua Lovett, and Emma.

Uh... Willa.
Camille and Emma!

Did I mention the Lingos and Stouffers were there too? Thanks
Kaliste for the awesome pizza!

The entirety of the "town" of Coble. Literally. That. Store. Is. It.

We did a lot of land touring while we were there... SO gorgeous! There is water everywhere!

Saturday after dinner Kaliste gave me Four-Wheeler lessons!
Sunday after a wonderful message from Pastor Lovett, and lunch at the "church", everyone headed over to the Harper's house for great fellowship time. They do this every Lord's Day!

Playing the Game of No Name. Seriously the best card game ever. And I don't like card games.

Willa found fast friends among the Stouffer and Lovett girls!

Calculating the cubic gallons of water on a roof... quite the endeavor. :D

Hannah and Elsie were also fast friends. They got along so nicely!

Olivia and Olivia.

I was so excited to meet the Harper ladies! They are
amazing seamstresses and role models for me! L-R: Alexandria, Rachel, Jacqueline, Kaliste, Me, Jessica, Olivia...

And Caleb. :-P

Kenan and Emma playing the ever-sorta-not-so-popular-never-ending game of Risk.
Thank you so much Lovetts and
Stouffers and Lingos and Harpers! We had so much fun and would love to come back soon!

Glad somebody was taking pictures, because I wasn't! I think I was too busy burning pizza dough. lol. ;)
We had a great time with you all as well and are looking forward to your next visit!
Haha, I forgot about the burnt pizza dough. :-P
We are too!
A few comments: 1) Seth and Elsia are so amazingly adorable. I love the picture of them on the ride together. 2) I love that you girls have such nice swimwear that you can feel comfortable wearing to swim in. Really nice. 3) Looks like a fun trip and how GREAT that you met some Christians and shared fellowship while there. Thanks for sharing.
