Although Olivia has been out of the hospital for a week now, our trials are continuing and we would welcome your prayers:
- Tina had to go to the urgent care center this morning with a fever and feeling awful. Diagnosis: sinus infection and double ear infection. Treatment: new antibiotic (now her second in two weeks), as well as strong cough medicine. This thing infects the head but affects the lungs pretty severely too.
- Bruce: I was diagnosed Wednesday also with a sinus infection. Five prescriptions and a day and a half later I am now feeling merely okay.
- Willa: I am leaving now to go to the urgent care center with her. Low grade fever, not feeling well. My guess: sinus infection.
- Olivia: still feeling pretty tired. Now has a weird swelling across the bridge of her nose- looks like she was in a fight. Doctor says there's a slim chance she could have an sinus infection in the bone of her nose- only diagnosed with a CAT scan. We will see in the morning if its any better. If not, then we will go for our fifth ER visit.
Please pray specifically that the medications we are receiving- especially the antibiotics- are the correct ones to wipe this thing out. Pray for Olivia's nose. We have now officially been severely sick in our house for four weeks. Please pray that Seth, Elsia, and Emma stay healthy.
