Emma's Belated Birthday Post

*Ahem* We're just going to pretend I haven't taken nearly a month's absence from posting. :D Emma turned 14 three weeks ago, although if you've known Emma long, you would be surprised she just turned 14, since her maturity level has always seemed to be at age 14. :D

To celebrate the birthday, Emma was allowed two new privileges- Start driving the car and wearing mascara. Her first drive (just to our mailbox) was... humorous. :D

She started out about where Willa's skirt is seen in this picture and ended up...

there in about 3 seconds. She was so focused on the speed she forgot to steer! :D

Daddy took her out to lunch at the Mexican restaurant in town and she raved about her selection the rest of the day. :D

For her birthday dinner, she chose Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo and homemade chocolate ice cream and Boston Creme Pie. :D

She declared the day a fine success.
