I Love My Life - And Here's Why.

There is so much to be thankful for:

I'm thankful for the great big inner tubes we got that are perfect for these TN creeks. And friends that invite us last minute to go swimming.

I'm thankful for dashboard dust.

I'm thankful to have passed my driver's test!

I'm thankful for silly siblings who make every morning an adventure.

And don't really need to be entertained because they crack themselves up.

I'm thankful for the freedom to concoct sandwiches with leftovers from the fridge.

Yes, I'm thankful for the THOUSANDS of bugs we have around our house. The big, the little, and even though I squash 'em all, I'm thankful for them. This little guy (okay, so he's 2.5 inches long...) is a Space Station Bug. Doesn't it look like the space station? When he's flying and you can't see the clear part of his wings its amazing. :D

I'm thankful for excuses to make Cookie Dough Cheesecakes. This was halfway through the process.

I'm thankful for the laughs I get when I discover ground beef unthawing on office chairs under our dining room table. Because there's no where else to put it.

I'm thankful for Saturdays and other busy cooking days where I get to be creative about where to put things in our smallish kitchen. And for hamburgers and bacon. :D

I'm thankful for young baby coconuts I get to hack open with a huge knife (not pictured). And that Elsie LOVES to eat the coconut flesh. You'll find her and Daddy each walking around with a bowl of it.

I'm thankful for the  songs I "discover" on our iPod. And being able to blast music allllll over the house. :D

Thankful for silly sisters who confuse mangoes for Egyptian eyes.

Thankful for a Dad who is is still a little boy at heart. And can't refuse slapping my chocolate-covered hand onto my face during late-night kitchen clean up.

And sisters who can sculpt wedding rings out of the chocolate. :P

Thankful for excuses to make carrot cake waffles for breakfast.

Thankful that I've learned that sometimes, its just better not to ask.

Thankful for homemade bread.
