Europe Trip Pictures: #5 Dinner and Parade of Nations

After searching out Aunt Jill, we walked around looking for some dinner. Gabby helped us find a yummy place walking-distance away. :-D

Dutch is SO much harder to understand than French-- I had absolutely no idea what the menu said, so just asked the waiter was was good and chose the first thing he said, not knowing what in the world it was! :-) Turned out it was a REALLY yummy chicken on a stick with awesome peanut sauce!

We walked over to the watch Aunt Jill in the Parade of Nations.

This is everyone after they "paraded" in. Netherlanders in orange. Americans in red.

Americans beginning to enter.

Anyone else notice the typo on the sign?

Yep. A self-portrait.

The Netherlanders decided to line up for group shot in front of where I was standing. Lots of cameras!

The cabin we were staying in was in a resort where you aren't allowed to drive your car... thus we had to walk 1/3 mile or more every time we wanted to get anywhere. It also took a long time to find the cabin in the dark on a maze of roads.

Sitting around chatting.

The food of champions.

In bed at last!
Pictures from our drive to the Netherlands coming soon!
